This split role leads a specialist Central Partnerships Team responsible for driving the organisation’s programme development activity to secure new project income, and managing of external relationships with a diverse range of donors and partners. The post-holders lead and manage key donor relationships and represent BBC Media Action externally. Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Partnerships, you will work closely with Programme, Advisory, Research and Finance colleagues including those based in country offices around the world, and provide strategic leadership on business development processes focused on securing income from institutional sources. You will bring innovation, creativity, sound editorial judgement and knowledge of media and production to the Central Partnerships team.
The post holders will lead a global team and will be expected to draw on a wide range of resources throughout the organisation. The post-holders are responsible for developing projects and maintaining relations with donors and key stakeholders, principally in the UK and Europe.
