THE TEAM

You will join and lead a team of three driven, passionate and fun People and Culture (P&C) professionals who cover everything from employment contracts, performance management to learning and development (L&D) programs. Together we are a cohesive team, who have developed high levels of trust, honesty and support. We are seeking an individual who can seamlessly integrate into this robust and well-established team culture, contributing their unique skills and expertise.

THE ROLE

This is a 12 month Parental Leave Contract (concluding in February 2025).

In this role, you will drive projects and initiatives that foster a culture that is innovative, creative and optimises the execution of knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the P&C team in delivering value-added services, including operational P&C matters, recruitment, policy development, and performance management;
  • Collaborate with the General Counsel for strategic organisational health and performance; and
  • Provide expert advice on people development, legal compliance and change management.

We have a number of P&C projects in motion or planned for 2024 that you will play a key role in delivering. Those being:

  • Enterprise Agreement planning and negotiations;
  • Review of the current holistic performance system; and
  • Reinvigoration of the L&D space.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will be an experienced Head of P&C/P&C Manager with at least three years of experience in a similar role, and a passion for GPAP’s vision and mission. You will trust in your team’s ability to work autonomously while also being available to guide and mentor them. Ideally, you will have in-depth experience in performance management, industrial relations and organisational design, and a solid understanding of employment law and change management.

Annual full-time salary: $125,404.80 per annum + 11% superannuation per annum.
