So, what is this opportunity is all about?Here at RS, we have a brilliant opportunity to join our energised and highly collaborative sales team as our Head of Sales Operations, a crucial part of our sales leadership team, responsible for overseeing the entire sales operations department of the largest commercial market in the RS Group. As the leader, you will be accountable for the sales strategy development/deployment and leadership of both the Bids & Tenders Team and Sales Support Team.We aren’t a company that stands still, and recognise that world-class teams need the best equipment, processes, and systems. • You will enjoy coaching and leading people; supporting the sales community to deliver their aspirations – taking responsibility for finding ways to develop and motivate your talented teams.

It’s key that you are not hierarchically minded, as we are proud of being equal players in our sales team – every voice is heard.

• Not just a people leader, you are also a thought leader and be able to innovate and pioneer approaches to ways of selling, contributing to the future development of sales effectiveness and the wider sales team.

• You have a proven track-record in a sales operations environment, a proud background of developing and leading successful sales teams and developing strategy that has driven significant growth in commercial environments.

• Having a knack for being able to understand customers’ needs and support a sales community in order to optimise growth and build pipeline opportunities.
