As Health and Safety Manager for the UK and Ireland, you’ll be responsible for the effective delivery of the UK and Ireland environment health and safety strategy and will contribute to the Haier Europe Group health and safety strategy. With 1 full time report, you’ll work alongside colleagues to ensure that we achieve operational excellence, focusing on the health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce. You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of the UK and Ireland health and safety strategy, ensuring alignment with Haier Europe Group objectives and statutory requirements
• Training and support
• Risk management and statutory compliance
• Implementation of environmental and sustainability requirements across the UK and Ireland

You’ll need to be Grad IOSH (or equivalent) and have extensive experience in a similar role which has included dealing with asbestos management, CDM experience, management of contractors and environmental.

You’ll be based out of our Warrington and/or Bolton sites so need to be North West based, but you’ll spend a lot of time travelling as you’ll be managing health, safety and environment across the UK and Ireland. There will also be the opportunity for a level of home working.
