About the opportunity

Primary Health Tasmania has an exciting opportunity for a creative and energetic Lead Integrated Health Care to work with healthcare professionals, pharmacists and general practitioners to find solutions that support integrated health care. The role will provide technical leadership in identifying and applying effective integrated health care strategies alongside system partners in Tasmania.

What you would be doing

Applying your health sector knowledge you will:

  • Take the lead in coordination and integration of a variety of sector improvement and health program activities
  • Work collaboratively across teams to identify and address priorities for improving integrated health capabilities in the primary health workforce and with service providers
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with communities of stakeholders to drive change
  • Translate conceptual frameworks found in health sector policies and research to practical improvement and innovation initiatives

Here’s what you’ll look like

  • Subject matter expertise in continuous quality improvement in a health or similar field would be highly regarded
  • Ideally, have experience in managing the development and implementation of frameworks that changed the way people or organisations approached their work and that support the improvement of the health system
  • Advanced communication, negotiation, problem solving skills and the ability to think creatively
  • Proven success in driving major or complex health projects and the ability to work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders
  • You’ll be a culture champion – understanding that every day, you play an important part of what makes Primary Health Tasmania a great place to work
