Tasks and Responsibilities of the Job
Assisting the Program Department, specially, the health Project manager in the day-to-day project related activities as per guidance.
- Experience in nutrition protocols related to PLWs and children and WASH activities related to health services.
- Timely collection, compilation, analysis, production and submission of the project data and information for monthly, quarterly, and final reports as per guidance of the project manager
- Assist in health-related Information management and record keeping standards, policies, plans, strategies, guidelines, references, tools and other related circulars and policies of the government, donors, and UN agencies.
- Assist in drafting project proposals and concept notes as per guidance of the project manager.
- Preparing status and progress reports from time to time as per guidance of the project manager.
- Support the HR Department with data, information, and analysis results of the projects.
- Support the Logistic department in the project-related procurement process, Update projects procurement trackers.
- Attending internal and external meetings as per advice of the project manager.
- Assist the project team in tracking projects spending on monthly basis from all donors.
- Assisting the project team in timely delivery of the project’s activities within the approved scope and budget.
- Contribute to timely and quality implementation of the project in line with its work plan.
- Contribute to the measurement of the project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Contribute to sufficient follow up of the procurement plan, review and validate the procurement processes within the time and scope of the project.
Performing any other tasks assigned by the Project manager.
Another Requirement
At least 1 year of experience in humanitarian project and program department with NGOs and/or UN.
- familiarity with the health situation across North-West Syria
- leading, analyzing and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Pleasant personality- polite, patient, diplomatic and motivated to the humanitarian works.
- Excellent skills in Excel based worksheets, database management, data analysis, data presentation and narrative reporting; skills in database software operations will be an advantage.
Very good skills in English- reading, writing, speaking, and communicating.
