About LiverWELL
LiverWELL is a not-for-profit community-based organisation and for over 30 years we have been working to support people with viral hepatitis. LiverWELL’s ambitious new strategy encompasses eliminating viral hepatitis in Victoria by 2030, in line with the Victorian government’s elimination strategies.
In addition, we are expanding our scope to mobilise the urgent action needed to address the significant growth in the incidence of liver disease; a silent epidemic that is impacting huge numbers of Australians, including those vulnerable groups impacted by viral hepatitis.
As a member of the LiverWELL management team you will contribute to broader organisational objectives and activities with a focus on delivery of our strategic outcomes.
About you
The ideal candidate will be driven by a desire to lead your team to deliver to their full capabilities. Highly collaborative, with an agile and adaptive mindset you will foster an enabling environment in which existing strengths can be leveraged, and new capabilities developed. A clear and engaging thinker and communicator you will provide direction, help develop and oversee the delivery of plans, as well as identifying improvements and efficiencies. Resourceful and solutions focused you will relish working with a passionate and skilled team.
Working closely with the Senior Health Promotion Manager you will manage and support our experienced Health Promotion team. This role will be key to enhancing our capability to develop and deliver impactful and measurable outcomes as we expand our scope and deepen our efforts.
LiverWELL is committed to employing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, persons with lived experience of viral hepatitis and liver disease, and those who come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Persons from these communities are encouraged to apply.
LiverWELL offers an enjoyable and flexible team working environment in North Melbourne, with flexibility to work remotely, ongoing professional development and excellent conditions including salary packaging and benefits.
