Binnies an RSK Group company is looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to work within our @one Alliance.What will you be doing as our new Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager?As our new Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you’ll advise and support the Head of SHEA, Operations Manager and Project Teams on all matters relating to health, safety & wellbeing at work, including the obligations and responsibilities of managers and employees.Through active collaboration and leading by example, you’ll promote an open and honest culture that supports the development of our people and assures compliance with our standards.Acting as an ambassador for our LIFE programme, you’ll provide a direct and visible link between our LIFE strategy and delivery outcomes.Key responsibilities:Support the development of the H&S Strategy for the @One alliance ensuring detailed action plans are developed using accurate, trusted and relevant data and KPIs to support action taken.Work with programme area project delivery teams in ensuring safety at work and on site at all times; communicate and investigate all incidents, reports, learning and resultant actions in a timely manner to all stakeholders.Develop central alliance procedures and policies to support the strategy and that comply with and satisfy all partner and Anglian Water safety rules and procedures.Ensure that yourself and your team maintain understanding and awareness of all current legislation, best practice, and statutory requirements and keep abreast of all new and forthcoming changes.Work with other teams and be accountable for the utilisation and implementation of the agreed inspection systems; ensure each construction site is inspected each month (incl. but not necessarily limited to CSIR, CQIR, CEIR).Through a combination of training, briefings, presentations, initiatives, events and tool- box talks, enhance H&S awareness to drive continuous improvement in all matters relating to care of individuals and safe operating procedure.Oversee the management of a team to be adequately resourced, motivated and equipped to develop a first-class Health, Safety & Wellbeing facility across the alliance.A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours….To join the SHEA team in this exciting and evolving leadership role, you’ll possess substantial experience in H&S management in a design and construction environment as well as holding NEBOSH Diploma and Graduate IOSH or higher membership level qualifications.Experienced in managing people and processes with an open, honest, and clear communication style, you’ll be passionate about the safety and wellbeing of a workforce.
