Ready for your next big challenge?Here at GXO, we’re looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Facilities Manager to join the team at our Primark site in Lutterworth. The site is set to embark on a period of huge growth over the next 12-24 months with a large-scale robotic implementation paired with volume and headcount increases, therefore we are looking for a candidate to bring their experience and energy to an exciting period.This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, covering the hours from 08:00 – 16:30 or 09:00 to 17:30.Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a competitive remuneration in line with qualifications and experience, and 33 days annual leave inclusive bank holidays. You’ll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!What you’ll do on a typical day:Promote good health, safety, and environmental practices throughout the siteDevelop and monitor Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work for all tasks carried out across the whole operationProvide, or where necessary organise training for staff in relation to Health and Safety policies, practice, and proceduresSupport cost-effective delivery of facilities/maintenance services, with least disruption to site activitiesWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Proven track record of H&S management experience within a fast-paced logistics distribution environment and facilities management ideally with a strong LEAN backgroundThe ability to drive a strong safety culture from the ground up, inspiring and motivating the team to continually strive for continuous improvementSound knowledge of H&S legislation, policies, and procedures with NEBOSH (obtained or working towards) Experience with Risk Assessment and SWP creation, development, and maintenanceWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
