Salary: Competitive total salary package including private healthcare and 6% employer pension contribution.Closing date: 31/05/2024Department: AdministrationLocation: Shefford (Bedfordshire)Division: ACO TechnologiesHours Per Week: 34.5Where to find usJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to act as ACO Technologies’ ‘Competent Person’ and be responsible for managing health and safety for the Company and leading on all health & safety matters.If you have been responsible for health and safety in a manufacturing, warehouse or distribution centre environment, hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety and an advocate of health and safety, it would be great to hear from you.The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation, regulations and standards and for helping to create, drive and uphold a positive culture of safety throughout the Company. The successful applicant will be responsible for reducing the risk of accidents and work-related injuries in the workplace by identifying hazards and by leading actions to put sensible solutions and controls in place to protect employees, contractors, visitors and suppliers from harm.Main Tasks & Responsibilities
