  • $88,168 – $104,466 + Super (Pro-rata)

About the opportunity

Join our dynamic team to coordinate and support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health and wellbeing projects. This role is pivotal in advancing Cardinia Shire’s Liveability Plan and other strategic initiatives aimed at fostering healthier, more equitable communities.

You will make an impact by:

  • Coordinating health promotion initiatives aligned with the VicHealth Local Government Partnership modules.
  • Supporting the community engagement, planning, and review processes for Cardinia Shire’s Liveability Plan and Social Justice and Equity Policy.
  • Developing and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders to address emerging health and wellbeing trends.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of the Liveability Plan Action Agenda and Social Justice and Equity Policy Implementation Plan.
  • Identifying and supporting advocacy campaigns, capacity-building initiatives, and funding submissions.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory responsibilities related to health and safety.

What you will bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in social or health sciences, health promotion, community development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination and delivery of public health initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience in community engagement, policy development, and partnership management.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
