Job Description:

World Vision Vanuatu (WV) is a Christian humanitarian organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Since 1981, we have been working to transform communities through program delivery in education, health care, water, sanitation & hygiene, agriculture and sustainable livelihoods. In line with the Vanuatu Governments National Sustainable Development Plan (2016-2030), World Vision in partnership with communities – deliver programs that are relevant, cost-efficient, effective and make a lasting difference. Community development is a key focus of World Vision Vanuatu, with 80% of our staff based in the communities where we work.

The purpose of this position is to manage the Healthy Families portfolio contributing to the achievement of ensuring inclusive access to water, sanitation and hygiene by:

• Leading Program Staff in coordinating Healthy Families programming for all areas in which the various projects within the program work, including budgeting, planning, and implementation.
• Coordinating design, monitoring, and evaluation to a high quality for the overall portfolio.
• Coordinating operational support for the portfolio projects (ie work with WVV Operations and Portfolio Quality to negotiate and secure consultant and surge support).
• Networking for greater impact with relevant National and Regional stakeholders, partners, and within in the World Vision Partnership
