The ICCT seeks a new Researcher who will contribute their energy and creativity towards policy-relevant research that will shape the technology transition now underway in the U.S. commercial truck and bus fleet. Representative work can be seen at the ICCT’s heavy-duty vehicle program page. This full-time position will be based out of our San Francisco or Washington, D.C office.
This position is best suited to someone who meets the minimum qualifications and also brings knowledge and practical skills in one of two areas: (1) vehicle fleets, including vehicle technology, performance, or cost in a commercial truck or bus fleet, or (2) utility performance, including utility planning, engineering, finance, or regulation. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a technical field, will have research experience, and will have professional experience in a fleet or utility setting. Our Benefits
This full-time position will be based in our Washington, D.C. or San Francisco, CA office and have a salary of $85,100 (DC) or $93,600 (SF). We offer an excellent benefits package including health insurance, paid vacation and family leave, a 401k plan with a generous 7% employer contribution, hybrid office/remote flexibilities, transportation subsidy, and other benefits.
