HGV 1 Tank DriverAbbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;HGV TANKER DRIVERMonday to Friday (Tramping)Full time permanentBased at our Worksop depotTanker experience preferred£13.25 (first 20 weeks employment) raising to £14.25Overtime paid at £14.52Loading and unloading of various powdersThe role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk powders tankers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.Duties will include:Collection & Delivery of product in tankers to and from customer locations (Sugar).Keeping your vehicle in clean conditionUsing your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveriesFollowing company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelinesExperienceHold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be givenMust hold a valid and up to date DCPC CardBenefitsCompetitive salaryFuel bonusGuaranteed hoursOvertime availableUniform/PPE28 days paid holiday (includes 8 bank holidays)Driver medicals reimbursedStructured two-week training programFull DCPC in house training during your employment (online or face to face)Online access to self- service, payslips and holiday bookingLife AssuranceGenerous pension scheme
