HGV 1 Tanker Driver 4 on 4 off TrampingAbbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;HGV 1 TANKER DRIVER4 on 4 off TrampingFull time permanentBased at our Hull depotLoading and unloading of liquid tanks / chocolate productTanker experience preferredFull training given£14.80 (first 20-weeks employment) raising to £15.80 after.£26.20 per night outThe role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk liquid tankers throughout the UK.Duties will include:Collection & Delivery of product in tankers to and from customer locationsKeeping your vehicle in clean conditionUsing your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveriesFollowing company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelinesExperienceHold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence for a minimum of 12 months(no more than 6 penalty points)Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be givenMust hold a valid and up to date DCPC CardBenefitsCompetitive salaryFuel bonusGuaranteed hoursOvertime availableUniform/PPE20 days paid holiday depending on shift pattern (includes 8 bank holidays)Driver medicals reimbursedStructured two-week training programFull DCPC in house training during your employment (online or face to face)Online access to self- service, payslips and holiday bookingLife AssuranceGenerous pension scheme** By submitting your application form, if you are subsequently offered employment with ALG, you are giving your permission for ALG to submit your basic details to a third party, specifically AXA, for your new starter health questionnaire.
