HGV 1 Tanker Driver – DaysHGV TANKER DRIVER – Days (Must include Saturday)5 days per week , must include SaturdayFull time permanentBased at our Newark depotTanker experience preferredLoading and unloading of Tipper TankersLoading and unloading of SugarClean work£15.43ph Monday – Friday. £16.34 Saturday, £18.67 SundayThe role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk powder tankers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.Duties will include:Collection & Delivery of product in tankers to and from customer locationsKeeping your vehicle in clean conditionUsing your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveriesFollowing company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelinesExperienceHold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be givenMust hold a valid and up to date DCPC CardBenefitsCompetitive salaryGuaranteed hoursOvertime availableUniform/PPE28 days paid holiday (includes 8 bank holidays)Driver medicals reimbursedStructured two-week training programFull DCPC in house training during your employment (online or face to face)Online access to self- service, payslips and holiday bookingLife AssuranceGenerous pension scheme** By submitting your application form, if you are subsequently offered employment with ALG, you are giving your permission for ALG to submit your basic details to a third party, specifically AXA, for your new starter health questionnaire.
