You will promote family engagement with education and the community and implement the delivery of the HIPPY program in a culturally sensitive way that supports active participation.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Interest and enthusiasm in supporting families to promote education through activities within their family unit.
  • Ability to relate to people from a range of cultural and language backgrounds from within the local community.
  • Basic literacy in English including reading, writing and numeracy.
  • Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.
