Momentum Collective is a registered charity and not-for-profit community services organisation creating inclusive opportunities and positive outcomes. We have a proud 40-year track record operating in a suite of services including disability accommodation and support, mental health, homelessness, community housing, family and domestic violence, child family and community services.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Momentum Collective is expanding services into Aged Care. The Home Care role supports older people with basic household chores such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation to support them to stay independent in their home.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
If you have a caring and compassionate nature, enjoy working with and spending time with older people, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for reliable people with the ability to work with minimal supervision to fill these positions. Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping or in a similar role highly regarded but not essential as full training will be provided.

Criteria
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current unencumbered Driver’s Licence
- Own roadworthy transport with comprehensive insurance
- Own smart phone with the ability to use phone apps
- Satisfactory Criminal record check
- Fit for physical work – Perform push/pull, reaching, grasping, fine manipulation tasks including lifting items up to 10kgs.
- Possess the physical ability to carry out cleaning duties which involve frequent bending, reaching/stretching, squatting, repetitive lifting and standing for lengthy period.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to develop a rapport with the client
