Your new role will include:
- Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Transport Services: Provide transportation to appointments, social activities, and other outings.
- Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services provided, client progress, and any incidents.
- Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients’ needs and preferences, ensuring their dignity and respect are upheld.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in Aged or Community care
- Someone who genuinely wants to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and communities
- Empathy, resourcefulness, and alignment with our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of our clients.
- A valid Australian driving license and access to a reliable, full comprehensive insured vehicle.
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent, Medication competency is desirable however not required.
