As a Home Care Worker at Uniting, you’ll be the heart and soul of our mission to empower independence and enhance the quality of life for older individuals in their own homes. As a vital member of our team, you’ll dive into a world where every task is an opportunity to make a difference right in the heart of our clients’ homes.
Your days will be filled with meaningful tasks, such as:
- Helping around the home – Help with housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Aiding with personal hygiene – Assisting with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Supporting wellness through transportation – driving to appointments and accompanying clients on shopping outings or to Uniting’s Healthy Living for Seniors programs.
Who we’re seeking?
- Empathy, resourcefulness, and alignment with Uniting’s values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness are key.
- Flexibility is essential, as you’ll adapt to the evolving needs and schedules of our cherished clients.
- A valid Australian driving license and consistent access to a fully insured vehicle
- Hold a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, if you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there!!
