What you’ll be doing in this role
As a full-time home care worker, you will help us ensure continuity of care for our clients as you provide support and companionship for older people living in Sydney’s Inner West, East or North. You will empower independence and improve the quality of life for our clients in their own homes.
With a focus on supporting our clients to stay independent for as long as possible, duties and responsibilities may include:
- Help at home: housekeeping, grocery shopping or meal preparation
- Personal Care: personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, helping at mealtime or with medication administration
- Transport: appointments or shopping trips
- Social support and wellbeing: accompanying clients on outings
Qualifications and experience:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent
- Similar experience providing person-centred care
- Current First Aid certificate
- Driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
