Under supervision, guided by policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the Clinical Nursing Staff, the Hospital Assistant II assists in the delivery of care to patients in an ambulatory specialty care pediatric satellite practice setting covering primarily in Modesto. With coverage as needed in other Pediatric Specialty Satellite FPO sites. Work includes a variety of personal care and nursing procedures including assuring positive care outcomes, documenting patient height/weight, vital signs, blood pressure reads, and EKG testing in UCARE/APEX systems. S/he will perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures respective to the specialty care services rendered to patients within the practice. S/he is required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by the Medical Center.
