About the role

We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Hospitality Specialist in our Hospitality division. This role is instrumental in leading and overseeing the operational practices and team culture within our hospitality sites. Providing exceptional customer service to the community while ensuring consistently high quality and person-centered services are delivered to our clients.

The role is based out of Baxter at our Sages Cottage Farm but you will also be required to work across our other Hospitality sites in Seaford, Keysborough etc.

Days are Monday – Friday working from 8:00am – 4:06pm.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Relevant hospitality/business qualifications or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hospitality industry standards
  • Previous management and hands-on experience
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Complaint handling and conflict resolution skills
  • A passion for supporting people with disabilities to achieve the best they can – bring your special talents to their experience!
  • Resourceful and innovative approach to creating opportunities for those we support – make social change happen
  • Strong communication skills; ability to prevent and resolve issues and to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Strong administration skills and computer literacy in order to complete appropriate documentation
  • Commitment to the principles of WHS, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislation

Must haves

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Full Victorian driver licence
  • Certificate in First Aid Level 2 + CPR
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination, including booster (or medical exemption)
