About the Role
Queen Mary Hospitality Is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and customer focused individual to join our catering department. You will be leading a team of Hospitality Assistants and supervising the daily operation for a very busy multi-site operating department.
The primary role for the Hospitality Team Leader is to ensure the effective and smooth running for all the food related events in our London campuses. The daily operation will involve supporting the team in the all the delivered and serviced breakfasts, refreshments, lunches, BBQ’s, cocktail receptions, VIP dinners and weddings for our students and external customers.
The department operates on a five out of seven days a week basis, and this role will incorporate the working early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
About You
To excel in this role, it is essential that you have experience in a very busy customer facing catering environment. This is an exciting development opportunity for an individual who is looking to progress into a more supervisory role in a multi-site operating department.
You will be responsible to ensure that whilst on shift the department operates in a smooth and professional way in accordance with the high standards that the University requires. You will work closely to another Team Leader and a Coordinator and will report to the Hospitality Management team.
The post holder will maintain high levels of cleanliness in accordance with the health and safety regulations and ensure cleaning schedules are followed by all catering staffs.
