About the role:

Reporting to Allocations and Reporting Manager, you will deliver excellent customer service in every interaction providing residents and prospective residents with tenancy and property management support.

In this role you will also have the opportunity to support strategic goals with project administration support for upcoming developments.

  • Work collaboratively within the Housing Services and Community Engagement team, assisting with project administration to support the identification, exploration and delivery of new types of housing.
  • Support the Allocations and Reporting Manager with allocations, providing ongoing tenancy management support (including managing resident complaints, conducting regular property inspections, assisting with linkage to other support services and more).
  • Engage and seek feedback from residents to support continuous improvement initiatives for service delivery.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping within the database and in keeping with internal policies and procedures, additionally maintaining compliance with sector legislation and regulations.

Essential Requirements:

Alongside the relevant skills and experience, you will have a connection to the cause and mission of City West Housing – applicants from the private sector with passion for meaningful work are also welcome.

  • Certificate IV in Community Services, Real Estate Licence or qualifications by experience are essential, as well as experience and understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act.
  • Intermediate – advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to pick up new systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong communication and time management skills as well as experience with administrative project support and meeting deadlines successfully.
  • Growth mindset and a collaborative attitude, the ability to build relationships and work effectively in a small team.
  • Some travel to various sites within Greater Sydney may be required, valid NSW Drivers Licence is beneficial or a willingness to commute on public transport.
