Position Summary
The HR and Administration Intern will support the HR and Admin department in daily operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in recruitment, staff records management, office administration, and internal coordination within a dynamic NGO environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Human Resources Support
- Assist in recruitment processes (posting vacancies, screening CVs, scheduling interviews).
- Support onboarding and induction processes for new staff.
- Maintain and update employee records (both physical and digital).
- Assist in tracking staff attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
- Support preparation of HR-related reports and documents.
- Administrative Support
- Assist in office management and daily administrative tasks.
- Help maintain office filing systems and documentation.
- Coordinate with different departments for administrative needs.
- Support procurement and inventory tracking when needed.
- General Duties
- Ensure confidentiality of HR and organizational information.
- Provide general support to the HR and Admin team as required.
- Participate in internal meetings and team activities.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Good command of English (Kurdish and/or Arabic is an advantage).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
