Europe Jacques Delors is looking for a part-time (20 hours/week) HR & office manager (F/M/D), based in Brussels. The position is to be filled as soon as possible, initially for the duration of a year, with the possibility to extend.

We are a Brussels-based, non-profit & independent think tank, working on sustainability & environmental issues in the EU in a young dynamic team of 10 people at the SustainableHub in the European Quarter.

Tasks:

Office Management

  • First point of contact for inquiries
  • Organise weekly team meetings, bi-annual board meetings & occasional events
  • Welcome & onboard new colleagues
  • Manage & organise office supplies, IT equipment, passwords & subscriptions, the sharepoint & contact lists
  • Coordinate relations with external service providers
  • Manage the team’s occasional travel & accommodation needs

Admin and HR

  • Work with the Director of Studies & Development to support the management of the team
  • Support recruitment processes
  • Organise annual employee feedback & build up the organisation’s HR competence
  • Liaise with the Administrative & Financial Manager in charge of employment contracts

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in project &/or business management, administration, event management, HR, or similar
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in think tanks, NGOs, trade associations or similar
  • Experience in human resources considered an asset
  • Full proficiency in English & French (min C1)
  • Experience working with Office 365;
  • Strong sense of initiative, excellent organiszational, team & time management skills
  • Attention to detail, proactive & constructive attitude; ability to respond to urgent tasks
  • Interest & engagement for sustainability & European integration

We offer a regular  CDD contract under Belgian law. The salary range is between 1500-1700€ gross monthly & includes a generous benefit package.
