Mission
- Support the EMEA HR Director in managing HR EMEA matters and facilitating the achievement of the EMEA business goals by delivering professional, operational HR support in all areas of the employee life cycle: recruitment, employee relations, performance & talent management, compensation & benefits, performance management, training and development, etc.;
- Ensure operational HR assistance to EMEA Management and to the local entities within the EMEA region;
- Analyze HR data and processes within the EMEA region, propose optimizations and support the implementation of HR policies, processes and projects.
Main Accountabilities
Provide support to the HR Director EMEA and EMEA Management in
- Setting out the HR agenda and priorities to support the business needs within the EMEA region;
- Fostering, developing and maintaining positive relationships with employees at all levels;
- Analyzing HR data and processes;
- Optimizing, implementing and coordinating HR processes within the region;
- Coordinating the HR community EMEA;
- Follow-up on post-merger integrations within the region and support in resolving any HR issues arising.
Workday & HR audits
- Super-user and key contact person for the EMEA region;
- Responsible for HR audits within EMEA and the coordination and follow-up of related action plans;
- Co-responsible for ensuring data integration and accuracy in Workday;
- Provide support in all HR processes managed in Workday and assist in training to local HR teams and end users if required;
- Assist in the review, testing, validation and implementation of new modules and functionalities.
HR Administration
- Assist in implementing the organizational blueprints, draft job descriptions, prepare job gradings, prepare salary offers and employment contracts,…; ensure that all documentation is filed timely and correctly;
- Key user for EMEA of the external job grading and benchmark platform;
- Assist in comp & ben-related matters, both to the regional as to the local organizations within EMEA;
- Support management in the annual, periodic and ad-hoc HR processes such as salary review, bonus calculations, talent pools, succession planning, employee satisfaction survey,…; ensure the relevant policies and guidelines are correctly applied;
- Update policies and guidelines, assist in ensuring compliance with respective local legislations as well as with Group and EMEA policies in all HR matters;
- Prepare, analyze and consolidate statistics and reports as required.
Employee Relations
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels in the organization;
- Support and advise the HR EMEA community on all matters related to the employee life cycle;
- Assists in answering all HR-related questions coming from regional staff.
Others
- Support the HR EMEA community in implementing the most appropriate training and development programs;
- Support the HR EMEA community on ongoing initiatives and projects from Corporate and/or EMEA;
- Liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders: EMEA management, Group management, local entities, Workday team, local authorities, assessment centers, etc.
Experience, Skills & Education
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Economics;
- Min. 3 years of HR Generalist experience, ideally in a corporate environment of an international organization possessing a strong customer focus and a performance-based culture; eagerness and ability to learn quickly prevails over extensive experience;
- Fluent in English both in verbal and written communication;
- Process-minded, strong affinity with data systems – prior experience with HR information systems such as Workday or Success Factors is an advantage;
- Digital literacy: proficient use of Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, etc.;
- Strong analytical skills, as well as good interpersonal, communicative and organizational skills;
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with different cultures;
- Highly organized, able to work well under stress, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
- Hands-on: quick to deal with problems and tackle them proactively;
- Discretion and accuracy are a must-have.
