Our organisations have a long history of partnering together to improve health and wellbeing for our communities. The opportunity

The Merger HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in ensuring our people are supported through a period of change as Access Health and Community and Inspiro merge. Working as part of the merger transition team, the HR Business Partner will work collaboratively across both organisations to guide the HR process from planning through post-merger integration.

This position demands a strategic, people-centred approach, deep HR expertise, and the ability to navigate complex organisational changes, ensuring the smooth integration of both organisations, while maintaining a positive employee experience. Reporting to the Merger Project Director, this role requires flexibility to work across all AccessHC and Inspiro sites as required.

What you will be doing

Key responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Lead the development and execution of an HR plan to deliver HR programs and processes that are fair, transparent and people-centred
  • Provide high level strategic and expert advice to key stakeholders, to develop and execute appropriate HR strategies that engage and support our people
  • Provide HR advice and recommendations on workplace relations and employment issues associated with the Merger
  • Partner with the Merger Project Director to create and execute a plan for workplace change, with consideration to relevant industrial requirements, as well as good practice people change management
  • In collaboration with AccessHC and Inspiro HR representatives, undertake pulse checks, review and evaluate HR Plan initiatives and activities

What you will bring

Key Selection Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business/commerce, human resource management, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience working as a business partner in a similar industry
  • A solid understanding of IR legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
  • Strategic and operational business partnering experience
  • Technically astute, with experience in the application and promotion of MS Office365 tools
  • Experience of supporting a merger within the for-purpose sector is highly desirable but not essential.
