JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: HR Coordinator (Capacity Building and Staff Development)
Reports to: HR Manager
Supervision of: Nil
Duty station: Yangon
Travel: 50% (countywide)
Grade: 7 in NRC’s Salary Scale (13th months’ salary, NRC MM Health Insurance Package, 20 days annual leave etc.) with accompanying terms and conditions. NRC offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

- Implement NRC’s HR systems and procedures at countrywide level
- Ensure adherence to NRC HR policies, handbooks, guidelines and donor requirements
- Prepare and submit reports and analysis on HR
- Support line managers in procedures and require support team trainings
- Ensure adherence to NRC policies and the national labor law in all processes and procedures
- Coordinate staff introductions, trainings, exit and etc.
- Promote an open knowledge-sharing environment that builds knowledge, skills and service for the benefit of the organization as a whole.
- Assist/monitor the implementation of a performance management process and provide continuous support the teams in field offices regarding capacity building options.
Generic professional competencies:
- Experience from working as a HR Coordinator in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Training facilitation experience
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
- Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
- University degree in OD or other relevant educational background combined with relevant professional background
- Knowledge of capacity building and organization development
- Experience with conducting/facilitating trainings
