About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Operations & Rewards and as a key member of our wider People and Culture team, you will be managing a team of 2 Shared Services Specialists.
Taking ownership of managing the SSI employee life cycle process, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all people related life cycle (hire to retire) transactions, documentation and query management. We’re looking for someone who can deliver great customer service, partnering with our internal functions to deliver a high-quality experience for SSI employees and business leaders.
Managing a market leading cloud-based HCM System and service delivery solution, you will be leading the team to continually improve process automation & build out the self-serve and shared services offering at SSI. You will be required to set the direction and KPI’s for the team to drive operational efficiency, enhance SSI’s tiered based triage system and ensure timely response and execution of all employee related advice, support and query management.
Key responsibilities:
- Advice & Support – Manage a tiered level support to provide Tier 0 and Tier 1 advice to employees & managers on all People & Culture policies and processes.
- System Management – Respond to questions and concerns from stakeholders on employee processes & provide day to day support for system users.
- Administration – Ensuring all documentation & record keeping on the system is up to date. Provide support and advice to managers and employees on employment lifecycle events.
- Change Management – Manage, support and advise on change of contract terms & conditions cycle from end to end, continuous process improvement, and coaching & training managers on the change of contract terms & conditions.
About You
You will have a hand-on style with demonstrable experience within HR Operations. We are looking for someone who is highly organised with the ability to oversee multiple projects and priorities. As an excellent communicator, you will be able to influence and negotiate across all levels of the business to get things done!
- Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to interpret Awards, Policy and Procedures and provide advice to staff and management.
- Experience with Dayforce or other advanced cloud-based HCM solutions (Workday, SAP Success Factors, Oracle Fusion or others) and service management platforms Freshdesk, Service Now.
- Experience in leading a team and performance management.
- Analytical with high attention to detail and data driven decision making
- Continuous Improvement Mindset
- High level project management skills
