ISSHSEQ ManagerContract: BankingLocation: London, EC2M 4RBHours of work: 40Contract Type: PermanentThe HSEQ Manager role is designed to inspire and engage the business community, driving cultural and behavioral change that reduces accidents, increases awareness, and ensures compliance across the organisation.As an ambassador for change management, you will play a key role in advancing ISS UK’s mission to become the world’s greatest service provider.Job DescriptionIn this role, you will work closely with all teams to promote a proactive health, safety, environment, and quality culture, ensuring that policies, procedures, and regulations are consistently followed.You will be instrumental in implementing strategies that improve safety standards, reduce risks, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.Through your leadership, you will influence behaviors that prioritise safety and compliance, contributing to the overall success of the business and creating a safer, more efficient workplace for all employees.Key Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety engagement at ISS within the contract
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and leadership across your area of responsibility creating a positive culture driving down accidents and raising awareness
• Lead delivery of H&S into your customer driving compliance and understanding
• Maintain and support further development of Integrated Management System
• Undertake audits, risk assessments and establish safe working procedures as necessary
• Provision of advice on current and forthcoming HSEQ related legislation
• Trouble shooting, HSEQ and welfare related problems
• You will be responsible for the provision of information, training and support in all areas of HSEQ
• Assist or undertake accident investigations.
• Maintenance of relevant company procedures and documentation.
• Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) risk assessments and management
• Assist the environmental manager where required.
• Audit the Permit to Work system and site access-controlled activities
• Audit ISS’s contractors

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• A Health and Safety and ideally Environmental qualification (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent level 6, Environmental qualification level 3 minimum)
• Previous experience working within HSEQ ensuring compliance in the FM, building services or related industry sector
• Experience of creating and updating a “legislative tracker” to ensure the above
• Experience of an Integrated Management System (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.) for storage and organisation of company procedures and reference documentation
• Experience of auditing of premises to ensure safe working
