At the heart of the Jigsaw model is a thriving document and data management business, providing a range of high-quality commercial services to corporate and government clients including Westpac, Coca Cola Amatil. This business enables us to provide a training pathway for people with disabilities to prepare for employment at their own pace and undertake award wage employment before transitioning to open employment.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Hub Manager reports to both the National Training Manager and the National Business Manager and is responsible for leading the delivery of Jigsaw Academy and Jigsaw Digital within the Melbourne hub. The manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations including four key areas.
- The management of the Jigsaw Academy program including the management of the Training team and the delivery of the training program.
- The management of the Jigsaw Digital program including the management of the Digital team ensuring the delivery of off-site document and data management contracts.
- Responsible for general office operations and maintenance.
- Working closely with the CEL and Connect team to maintain full capacity within the hub and the Jigsaw Pathway to employment for trainees and paid trainees is maximised.
The Hub Manager will be responsible for:
- Manage end to end delivery of the Jigsaw Academy’s training program in the Melbourne hub.
- Manage end to end delivery of the Jigsaw Digital business program in the Melbourne hub.
- Professionally develop and support Trainer Leads, Trainers, Business Leads with resources, tools and strategies to help
- Jigsaw participants achieve their employment goals.
- Ensure the hub is a safe and well-presented place to work this will include supporting with de-escalation of behaviour incidents.
- Ensure the hub operates in line with Jigsaw’s processes, procedures, culture, values, and methodologies.
- Support with communication to trainees’ support networks including families and allied health professionals.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES:
- 5+ years of management experience in leading small to medium teams.
- At least 3 + years of experience working in the allied health, teaching and disability industry and/or a relevant university degree.
- Experience in supporting a variety of complex disability and support needs.
- Experience managing communication with a diverse range of stakeholders including trainees, trainees’ families and allied health professionals.
