Human Resources Administration Specialist – Operations – Alice Springs

This position is based in our Alice Springs Office, which is the regional headquarters to councils’ 13 remote communities and outstation locations.

As the Human Resources Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department in delivering essential functions. You will actively contribute to the ongoing development of operational practices, monitor various reporting functions and lead administrative outputs for the department. As the Administration Specialist you will also act as the first point of contact for inquiries.

As a successful candidate, you will be experienced in providing streamlined administrative operational support to a busy team where individual ownership of duties is essential. You will demonstrate experience working in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment together with comprehensive skills in prioritising workloads.

The MacDonnell region is located in the centre of Australia. Covering 270,000sq km and with an estimated population approaching 7,000, it has a unique beauty with picturesque water holes, magnificent flora and fauna, red desert sands and rugged mountain ranges.
