About the role
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Professional that can demonstrate experience with the following:
- Providing advice and support to managers on managing staffing and performance matters;
- Managing complex employee relations matters;
- Undertaking workplace investigations;
- Advising management on best Human Resources best practice and organisation policy and procedures;
- Working collaboratively within the People and Culture team so as to provide a seamless employee experience
This role will work with stakeholders across the Central Coast, Hunter and Newcastle region and will require regular travel. We are flexible on the base location for the role and offer a hybrid working model.
About you:
- A passion for providing an expert and professional Employee Relations service
- Comfortable working at pace, handling multiple cases at a time
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources/Employee Relations/Industrial Relations or employment law (desirable)
- Extensive experience providing advice and support to managers in an ER/HR capacity
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to multitask, prioritise workload and align to business needs
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and partner with key internal stakeholders
- Understanding of best practice processes and current relevant legislation
- Solutions focussed with a strong customer orientation
- Workday experience desirable, or experience utilising similar HRIS
