Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) brings hope to communities devastated by disaster. We unite the skills and experience of military veterans, emergency responders and motivated civilians to deploy Disaster Relief Teams around Australia and the world. With our army of dedicated volunteers, we respond to disasters and deliver support to those in need.
We are seeking a HR Business Partner who can advise and add value across the employee life-cycle. This role will support the implementation of a range of HR projects, processes and procedures. It will identify opportunities, informed by engaging with employees and analysing key data, that drive continuous improvement across DRA.

The position is:
- A full-time position (0.8 FTE can be considered).
- Located in Adelaide
- A contract appointment to 31 March 2026.
In addition to the base salary, you will benefit from a salary packaging option and hybrid work from home arrangements.
Key taskings include:
- Providing technical HR advice to executives, managers and employees.
- Implementing effective organisational change, particularly relating to our HR Management System, ELMO.
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing management of performance appraisal and employee learning and development processes.
- Using data to identify opportunities that continuously improve our HR process and employee engagement.
To be successful in this role you will need:

- To demonstrate your prior experience and ability to achieve results in a similar role.
Past service in the Defence forces will be highly regarded.
