Position Title:Human Resources Coordinator
Reports to: Human Resources Director
Location: Employees in this role can work from our Boston, MA office, remotely within the U.S., or a hybrid of these two options.

Position Overview:
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator is a key member of the team that delivers HR servicesto Partners InHealth (PIH) U.S.-based employees as well as PIH’s international expatriates and global HR teams. The Coordinator has primary responsibility for implementing core HR processes, serving as a primary liaison to vendor partners,and will be responsible for other HR projects as needed. This role presents an opportunity to work on a collaborative team, interface with PIH employees around the world, and develop and enhance a wide variety of HR skills in service to a global organization that is relentlessly committed to improving the health of the poor and marginalized.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage onboarding and off-boarding processes, processing documentation, and leading new hire orientation.
  • Communicate HR programs and policies to U.S.-based employees and managersand PIH’s U.S.expatriate population; serve as a knowledgeable resource to staff and partners as well as providetimelyand proactive support to address issues.
  • Facilitate PIH’s Job Evaluation Committee by overseeing the schedule, agenda, and communications; work with hiring managers and the HR team on the analysis of jobs and projects related to compensation.
  • Coordinate the employment of international expatriate staff with HR teams at the sites, providing employment information, and helping to resolve problems as they arise.
  • Support the bi-weekly payroll process; create and maintain shared files through SharePoint and other secure methods; create and analyze reports to support knowledge sharing.
  • Lead and participate in HR and cross-team projects as needed, including conducting research, preparing documents, managing event logistics, and tracking deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, and 1-2 years of relevant experience required; experience working in human resources preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills and strong customer service orientation.
  • High proficiency in working with information and technology systems.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in French, Haitian Kreyol, or Spanish is a plus.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and countries.
  • Interest in social justice strongly desirable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $46,000/year.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan with employer match, as well as participate in organization-sponsored medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Full time employees will receive 15 days of vacation, 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and 3 volunteer days in addition to paid time off during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, the week of July 4th, and 11 additional holidays annually.
