Role overview

Brandwidth’s Human Resources Director leads a team of talent-focused individuals to devise and implement workforce strategies to improve and improve practices that achieve business goals.

The role includes oversight of all HR functions including talent acquisition, payroll and employee engagement for Brandwidth Group companies, creating and enforcing policies and programmes that ensure our people become the best versions of themselves. You will be reporting to the COO.

Working with our operations teams, you’ll build the trusted relationships necessary to undertake change management and organisational development based on data-centric decision-making, in turn reporting progress and performance to the senior leadership team.

This hybrid role requires you to work from our London office on Great Portland Street for at least a couple of days each week.

As a Human Resources Director at Brandwidth, you will:

Collaborate and Communicate

  • Based in London, the position requires experience in UK labour laws and practices with responsibility for international offices supported by our parent company’s people and legal teams in the market.
  • Champion, drive and implement change management programmes, employee-related and operations policies and processes to improve working practices.
  • Be a point of contact and mentor for line managers, empowering them to take accountability for managing performance and people.
  • Ensure effective methods are in place to identify, measure, develop and retain talent across the business.
  • Lead proactive and flawless communications that keep staff abreast of the latest initiatives concerning their welfare and company news and programmes.

Deliver and Develop

  • Establishment of and adherence to KPIs necessary to report on the performance of people initiatives to senior partners.
  • Planning, input and oversight of HR budgets for training, talent-related SaaS, facilities management, and cultural events.
  • Embrace and lead change management programmes, about M&A, team integration, benefits and rewards in a manner that improves operational performance by minimising disruption to employees, clients, and the business.

Executive Focus and Business Acumen

  • Partner with the senior leadership team to guide our performance through a variety of strategic initiatives concerning the well-being and performance of our people.
  • Be a point of escalation to resolve matters concerning employees in the context of their personal and contractual situations.
  • Align initiatives with progress against our corporate objectives e.g., training for DE&I and quality of service provision.

You will bring:

  • Several years of commercial experience working in an HR department, with 3-5 years in an HR leadership position.
  • Strong understanding of UK labour laws; evidence of successful structural change management; manage HR financial planning; work with staff information systems.
  • Evidence of working throughout the M&A process with demonstrable workforce integration success is beneficial.
  • Experience working for an agency or adjacent sector with an international footprint is beneficial.
