I am recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join a GP as the Head of HR. The primary responsibilities include overseeing human resources operations on a daily basis, implementing effective human resources programs and initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Align HR initiatives with overall business strategies to develop and execute successful HR strategies.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce.
  • Develop, engage, motivate, and retain human capital to support current and future business needs.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation.
  • Manage a performance appraisal system that promotes high performance.
  • Identify training needs to implement and monitor training programs.
  • Provide decision support to management by reporting HR metrics.
  • Ensure that human resources management is legally compliant.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • A background in the NHS is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CIPD Level 5 or 7 certification is required.
  • Proven HR management or executive experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in a GP Practice or similar environment.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and human resource information systems.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
