How can you make a difference?

  • Under the supervision of the Representative, the HR Manager, within their area of responsibility, is accountable for implementing HR services that enhance the capacity of their clients to deliver on their business goals and objectives. In doing so, the incumbent demonstrates the ability to anticipate HR-related needs and develop subsequent plans and solutions that align HR management with business objectives.

The incumbents leads/contributes in the following HR subject areas:

  • Management of HR Team
  • Technical HR Leadership
  • Business Partnering 
  • Policy Implementation and HR Administration
  • Recruitment, Policy Selection and Placement
  • Capacity Building and Career Development
  • Strategic HR Planning and Management
  • Management Excellence in the Office
  • Inter-agency Cooperation, Networking and Partnerships
  • Emergency Preparedness and Response
  • Staff wellbeing

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Education: An Advanced University Degree in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology or another related field is required.
  • A first level university degree (Bachelor’s) in a relevant field, in conjunction with two additional years of relevant work experience will be accepted in lieu of a Master’s degree.
  • Experience: Eight years of professional experience in human resource management in an international organization and/or large corporation is required.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English and a Latin language. Fluency in Portuguese is a strong asset.
