Located approximately 100 kilometres east of Melbourne, it employs 1500 staff, has over 200 hospital and aged care beds and provides a broad range of services including acute medical & surgical, paediatric, obstetrics & gynaecology, emergency, and community, aged care and linen services. Its primary catchment area is the rapidly growing Shire of Baw Baw with patients also presenting from other local government areas in Gippsland and outer Melbourne.
Reporting to the Director People & Culture, the role is responsible for delivering a high quality HR service across the organisation, providing leadership to the HR team and acting as a trusted adviser in supporting and educating executives and managers in all aspects of HR. The role works across a range of portfolios including the delivery of HR projects, supporting the development of strategic, business planning, change and project management activities, developing policy and strategic initiatives, contributing to workforce planning, and employee and industrial relations.
