In the HR and Business Support Specialist job, you will be:

  • Undertaking a wide range of HR activities including recruitment, attendance management, disciplinary, grievance, mediation, performance and change management as well as involvement with HR related initiatives, training and projects
  • Responsible for HR related matters across a specified region within the organisation and providing a proactive and innovative HR advisory service to all employees
  • Overseeing any recruitment processes required, monitoring and reviewing attendance management cases and completing administration tasks around HR tasks

To be considered for this Human Resources and Business Specialist role, you must have:

  • CIPD qualified (Chartered Member) or working towards the level 7 qualification
  • Previous experience within a human resources environment and knowledge of employment law
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills along with the ability to prioritise, use own initiative and work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent IT, computer literacy and database skills
  • Experience of managing conflict and sensitive issues and achieving positive outcomes
  • A full UK Driving licence with the ability to travel throughout North Wales
  • Level 2 Welsh – Speaking and Listening (if not already demonstrated, to be achieved within probation period with support provided.)

This is a full-time, permanent role working 37 hours per week on a salary starting at £36,648 per annum rising to £39,186 per annum, subject to annual increments, plus a range of employee benefits.

The role is normally located at headquarters in St Asaph however, agile working is available from a combination of home and alternative service locations.
