3iSolution/ is a not-for-profit organization created in Sept 2008 and registered in France as Association by law of 1901 under the name of iMMAP France and still operating legally under that name. Currently, 3iSolutionis working with the humanitarian and development sector in 10 different countries and have been active in more than 25 countries during the last 15 years. We have implemented more than 300 projects and have currently 150 staffs working worldwide. Our work focuses in using innovation and the technology knowledge, which is built by the private and academic sectors, so to enhance the power of information to make direct and concrete impact at the beneficiaries’ level, who are the organization that we support.

Scope of work:

This consultancy’s main objective is to ensure the project’s successful completion and the achievement of deliverables, on time, within required quality levels, in alignment with the budget available and in line with donor requirements. The PM plays also a critical role engaging with the project’s donor and consortium’s partners. Lastly, the PM will monitor the development of new funding opportunities to ensure the continuity of the project in NES.

Description of Duties

Project Management

  • Monitoring the implementation of the project’s workplan and ensuring adjustment actions are taken if necessary.
  • Consolidating the project M&E tool updates .
  • Organizing the project close-out and lesson learned meeting.
  • Planning and implementing the project’s endline survey.
  • Regular coordination with Partners as needed.
  • Inform HQ about any inherent risks to the project’s completion and propose mitigation measures.

Financial Management

  • Ensuring that the Project Financial Monitoring Tool is updated in coordination with HQ finance and the Finance & HR Manager.
  • Validating the project’s spendings as per 3iSolution’s guideline and in line with budget’s forecast.
  • Coordinating with the support department, to ensure financial resources are spent in line with the donors’ regulations.

Staff Management

  • Directly manage the HMA coordinator, Senior Information Management Officer and Operations coordinator.
  • Ensure contractual and performance evaluations for the project’s staff are carried out in accordance with 3iSolution guidelines.

Security Management

  • Ensuring regular coordination with 3iSolution ’s security department.

Other relevant duties as assigned by 3iSolution/iMMAP France HQ.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in international development studies

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Humanitarian or Stabilisation programme management required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Past experience in the Humanitarian Mine Action sector preferrable.
  • Experience in planning programme close-out is an asset
  • Knowledge of basic programme development skills such as quantitative and qualitative monitoring and evaluation.
  • Grant management experience with proven reporting skills is required.
  • Previous experience in managing EU funded projects is an asset.
  • Demonstrable highly developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working is a volatile security context preferrable.

Soft skills

  • Strong analytical skills, and aptitude to turn abstract discussions into concrete ideas.
  • Technical writing skills including developing proposals and reports.
  • Ability to perform well on tight deadlines, flexible attitude.
  • Ability to lead teams.
  • Ability to work based on objectives.
  • Abity to work under pressure in a volatile security context
  • Fluency in written and spoke English is required. Spoken Arabic skills are an asset.

IT/IM skills

  • Knowledge of computer applications, in particular proficiency required in MS Office.and Google Suites.
  • Knowledge of Information management and particularly IMSMA is an advantage.
