We’re looking for a Principal Engineer to lead technical capabilities within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Technologies team with a specific focus on Access Management, providing effective leadership to team members and contributing to the strategic direction.Key responsibilities:Assisting the IAM Technologies Product Owner to lead in running a team of IAM specialists to provision IAM services supporting the wider IAM Lab, service external demand and provide specialist advice and guidance to other platforms delivering within an Agile environment.Delivering services and general knowledge of IAM toolsets such as OIM, SailPoint IIQ, Saviynt, CyberArk, Ping Identity, ADLDS.SME level of knowledge of IAM principles and best practices, particularly in relation to Access Management and Cloud IAM.Primary role as a technical leader with sufficient technical capability to support individual team members.Will have significant and in-depth knowledge of IAM discipline and how to successfully implement core principles and processes to lead effective operational activities.Effective communicator who can translate complex processes, risks and ensure IAM issues are understood by business colleagues and senior leaders.Why Lloyds Banking Group:We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. Including you.What you’ll needSignificant experience of working in an Identity & Access Management or IT Security function with an engineering background with hands on technical experience in systems integration or software engineering of IAM solutions.Experience building, leading, and coaching teams.Technical knowledge & experience of Industry standard IAM tooling including – Experience using Ping Identity’s Workforce 360 product suite, specifically Ping Access, Ping Federate and Ping Directory. Experience using other IAM related technologies such as Oracle Identity Manager, SailPoint, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, GCP and AWS.Experience with configuring and deploying authentication solutions including MFA, SAML, OAuth, LPAD and including Kerberos.Expert in range of programming languages including Java, C+ and C#.Challenging the existing processes and ways of working, with a view to eliminating waste and improving the customer experience.Recommends ways to improve support for operations by changing policies, processes, standards, and practices.Experience in implementing ITIL best practice.Experience of managing people, both operationally and from a line management perspective.Ability to effectively communicate complex topics and build confidence within the team and to external stakeholders.And any experience of these would be really usefulCISA, CISM, CISMP, CISSP or equivalentAbout working for us:Our focus is to ensure we’re inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.
