Description of the Assignment:  UNDP  is looking for a National consultant for the assignment : IC/2024/018 –Loss and Damage specialist. The project ‘Climate Action Acceleration in Mongolia (CAAM) ’ is implemented by UNDP. In the above context, UNDP is recruiting a local consultant, to support the work of an international consultant, with experience in climate change issue, and preferable with Loss and Damage negotiations, to facilitate UNDP in supporting the Government of Mongolia to access the Loss and Damage Fund by enhancing its knowledge for Loss and Damage dialogue and negotiation capacity, and identifying needed action and required support, including finance, technology and capacity building of the government officials. The consultant will therefore support with  some activities in achieving the project outputs as described in the Terms of Reference.

 

Period of assignment/services : 30 working days within the period of June – December 2024
