ICMPD : Junior ‎Project ‎Officer – Vienna

JOB DESCRIPTION

ICMPD’s Silk Routes Regional Office implements an array of projects in Iraq, ranging from:
1/ Supporting information dissemination and awareness raising among potential, outgoing, and returning migrants ​in Iraq, to promote informed decision-making.
2/ Pursuing to strengthen whole-of-government/whole-of-society and capacity building partnerships with governmental stakeholders to contribute to improved migration governance, including through training, technical and infrastructure support.
3/ Supporting an expanded role and partnerships with Iraq’s private sector to enhance outreach to returnees and their referral to reintegration services.
Team Structure: The Junior Project Officer would be based out of ICMPD Headquarters in Vienna and would work closely with the Iraq based project implementation teams, under the overall supervision of the Team Leader and Project Managers in Vienna.
Desirable ​Languages: knowledge of Arabic and Kurdish is considered an asset.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree

Work Hours: 8
