We are seeking an experienced ICT Customer Support Officer to provide support for staff relating to all IT systems, update learning management systems and implement new IT systems.

About Stepping Stone House
Stepping Stone House is a not for profit charity that provides accommodation and personal development for children and young people aged 12-24 years old who through no fault of their own find themselves homeless, at risk of homelessness or unable to live at home. It is an accredited out of home care residential service providing medium to long term accommodation across three homes in Sydney.
Furthermore, it provides after care support to graduates up to 30 years of age. At Stepping Stone House we encourage personal growth and development of children and young people with the aim of empowering the individual to achieve responsible independence.

To be successful in this challenging role – you will need to be hard working, be flexible in your approach, enthusiastic and show empathy, patience and respect for the people you work with. You will need to be a self- starter, be honest in your approach and have passion for working with adolescents.
What you will be doing – Key responsibilities:
- Determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
- Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems
- Adapting existing programs to meet users’ requirements
- installing and downloading appropriate software
- ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment
- Implementing computer networks
- Designing and maintaining websites
- Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers and modems
- Assist in maintaining the assets register
- Provide IT training for staff and project support (e.g. coordination of meetings, agendas, minutes, communications and basic IT skills)
- IT set up for new staff members
- Assist in investigating and recommend IT systems fit within the organisation.
- Maintain structure of SharePoint
- Support salesforce cloud system and manage data
- Management of internal security software.
- Providing maintenance status reports
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Information Technology
- 2 years IT support experience necessary
- Proficient computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, word processing and formatting, learning management systems, email and web based applications.
- Ability to work both independently but also within a collaborative team environment.
- Good time management, organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to achieve outcomes within agreed timeframes and under time pressures.
- Good multi-tasking and problem solving skills.
- Able to speak and write in English language
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure.
- Possess a genuine passion for Technology.
- Must reside in Sydney and be willing to travel to all Stepping Stone House locations across Sydney metro areas

Desirable Criteria
- Basic accounting and budgeting skills.
- Knowledge in SharePoint, Salesforce and other online information systems.
- Good administrative and organisational qualities with attention to detail
