Overview of position:
CTG is looking for candidates whose experience match the below TOR for our operaitons in Abyei.

Role objectives:
Participate in the business processes for acquisition & replenishment of the fast moving goods.
Implementation, roll out & use of the supply chain planning Tool.
Implement buffer levels for all fast moving materials, ensuring operational stocks are maintained.
Establishment of reorder levels, minimum levels, minimum reorder quantity, etc. based on historical consumption patterns.
Analyze the demand of materials for the technical units (transport, engineering, FTS & general supply) & decide the purchase, when required, through the sources that will optimize costs, delivery times or mitigate risks for stock out.
Analyze stock holdings, consumption patterns, demand & forecasts, maximizing the use of funds & aligning to acquisition plans.
Initiate replenishment of stocks through creation of shopping carts & the use of existing system contracts, long term agreements, local contracts, blankets purchase orders, low value acquisitions, SDS inventories, mission surplus & petty cash.
Monitor the status of acquisition process with relevant stakeholders & generate comprehensive reports to Senior Managers.
Preparation of business intelligence reports, analyze the outcomes & present recommendations.
Identify, analyze & interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Request creation of new PIDs to UNHQ & / or UNGSC, when required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Project reporting:
This role reports to the line manager.

Key competencies:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Technical certificate in at least one of the following areas is an advantage namely logistics, supply chain management, inventory management or business administration.
A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in inventory management, warehouse management or logistics.
Experience in supporting supply services for international peacekeeping or military operations is desirable.
Working experience in UMOJA warehouse module & inventory management module is mandatory.
Minimum three years of proven UMOJA experience is required.
Strong analytical, planning & organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
Knowledge of UMOJA ECC to be able to run inventory reports.
Working knowledge and navigation of UN material master material & service catalogue in UMOJA & identification of correct PIDs.
Good knowledge of UMOJA SRM.
Hands on experience with analyzing large volumes of data sets & capable of creating reports & dashboards.
Fluency in spoken & written English.

Team management:
This role has no team management resposibility.
