IFC’s Morocco Country Management Unit (CANMA) is seeking an intern as part of our Global Internship Program (GIP). The Global Internship Program (GIP) offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of IFC and the broader World Bank Group and become part of the largest private sector development institution in the world. The program encourages individuals to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas to IFC’s work, while improving skills in a diverse and highly stimulating environment. Moreover, the Global Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and network with international professionals dedicated to ending extreme poverty and boosting prosperity in the developing world.
• Support the Country Manager/Officer in its business development efforts, and help in monitoring and updating IFC’s portfolio and pipeline in the country
• Contribute to the drafting of specific briefing materials in preparation of bilateral meetings, conferences, and other events
• Contribute to and share knowledge on developments relevant for the region and support the organization of flagship events as required
• Support in the preparation and implementation of the two-day event “Essaouira Investment and Cultural Days” to showcase the strengths of Essaouira and attract investors to accelerate the development of the city
Selection Criteria
• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree level program
• Preferred field of study: MBA, Finance, Economics
• 2-3 years of previous work experience
• Fluency in English and French
