Financial Education Training in Basra and Muthanna

Background and Context

Under ILO-Italian project in Iraq, to aim at bolstering private sector support and promoting the creation of decent jobs in Southern Iraq. A central focus of this initiative is the encouragement of sustainable green businesses in three principal levels (Macro Level – Meso Level – Micro Level). At the Micro level, the project will deliver SIYB and Financial Education training to the entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs in Basra and Muthanna to enhance their capacities in business management and access to finance.

The training will be present FE manual for the trainers of entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs. Each training will be for 5 days in duration and hosting 15 participants in each workshop.

As a part of the project activities, the series of the activities will be from 1st September until 30th November 2024 based on schedule will be shared after signing the contract

Objective:

The ILO is seeking a service management company to provide logistical services for series of 12 trainings in Basra and Muthanna.

Work Assignment and deliverables

The company will provide the following deliverables:

Deliverables

• Venue in VTC-Basra and Muthanna for FE workshops, with Maximum 200 USD per workshop in coordination with ILO staff – 20 workshops
• Transportation and Lunch Allowance for 300 participants (15,000 IQD) per day through E-Payments – 5 Days – 300 participants
• Coffee break for workshop (Maximum 3 USD per person) – 5 Days – 300 participants
• A4 Certificates with cover – 300 participants
• Printing Manual (200 pages – spiral – colour) – 300 copies
• Branded Notebook (Italian Project) – A5 spiral – 300 notebooks
• Stationary for each workshop – 20 workshops

• DSA for trainers in Basra (219*.8 = 175.2 USD) – 6 Trainers x 5 Days x 175.2 USD = 5256 USD
• DSA for trainers in Muthanna (174*0.8 =139.2 USD) – 6 Trainers x 5 Days x 139.2 USD = 4,176 USD
• Facilitator fees (500 USD) – 2 facilitators
• Rent printer inside training – 2 (1 Basra- 1 Muthanna)
• Service fee
